The Future Is Here exhibition was a very insightful one, I found. It introduced me to certain appliances, like the 3D printer, which incidentally is how this vase was made, and the idea that the lines between consumer, manufacturer and design are becoming blurred due to things like the 3D printer that allows consumers to make objects at home and websites, such as the online All Star Converse store, that allow customers to customise a product to meet their personal demands.
